Well, this page is all about me. For those of you of a curious nature, who would like to gain insight, not only about the topics I write, but would also crave knowledge about the writer himself, then you have come to the right place. I’m an ex pat Englishman living in beautiful New Zealand. I earn my living as a scientist and have done so for three decades. Writing is my passion, not the dry technical writing of scientific journals or professional treatises, full of dense pedantic prose -read by the few and understood by the fewest. I want to write about the things that interest me and that would be understood and be accessable to all. This is why I started to write and why I write today. I make no pretense of being a gifted writer. I’ve always found writing challenging and cussed hard work, but rewarding nontheless. The important thing, for me, is that I continue to write and, if posssible, to provide informed content for my audience.
